Elegant, smart, strong, kindhearted, and most importantly, a woman of God are just a few words that come to mind when I think of my grandmother Eloise Sanders. I know everyone thinks they have the best grandma in the world, but I can honestly say I do. Throughout my 25 years of life, my grandma has taken care of me, fed me, and done a boatload of other things for which I will be forever grateful. I love hearing stories from her upbringing in Bienville, Louisiana because they let me see how far we've come as African Americans and how much easier life was back then when you didn't have to worry about all of the issues that are currently affecting the world.
Proverbs 31:26"She opens her mouth with wisdom, and the teaching of kindness is on her tongue." Eloise is a fantastic teacher in addition to being a wonderful mother and grandmother. Spreading the word of God through simple, short, and sweet lessons that will captivate and leave you wanting more. She has helped so many people throughout the years, and I pray that God continues to bless her abundantly. I consider myself tremendously fortunate to have my grandma in my life, and I consider myself even more blessed to have one of the best grandmothers on the planet.
