End Of An Era

All good things must come to an end, and whether you like him or not, Tom Brady's historic career has come to an end as he announced his retirement from the National Football League. No one could have foreseen that a sixth-round draft pick would win seven Super Bowls. Coming out of the University of Michgan, draft experts portrayed Tom as skinny, lacks a really strong arm, can’t drive the ball downfield, and does not throw a really tight spiral. Tom worked tirelessly, day in and day out, to prove everyone wrong. When the time came for him to be a starter, he seized the opportunity and never looked back.

Throughout his 22-year NFL career, he was purely dominant and cold-blooded in crucial situations. When you're a child and you're playing football in the backyard, this is the type of career you fantasize about and play on Madden. Some may suggest Tom's career was aging like fine wine since he simply grew better and better over time. Tom was looking for a new experience after winning six Super Bowls and having a lot of success with the New England Patriots. When he left the Patriots for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, all the critics said he'd never win another Super Bowl because "he's a system quarterback." and he needs Bill Belichick to win. Just as he did when he first entered the NFL, he proved the doubters wrong by winning his seventh Super Bowl with his new team at the age of 43. "Leave No Stone Unturned," as the old saying goes, and there is no doubt that Tom Brady has accomplished all a football player can do in the NFL. He is without a doubt one of the best athletes of all time, not just in football.
