With the draft approaching, a plethora of prospects will see their dreams come true when they are selected by an NFL team. The same can be said for Texas Southern University defensive end Michael Badejo. A versatile defensive end that can make any play on the football field and provides an unmatched intensity to the game that is needed on any team. If you've ever watched Michael play, you'll notice that he's always in the vicinity of the ball. Michael's college resume virtually speaks for itself, as he racked up 100 tackles, 12.5 tackles for loss, 10.5 sacks, and three forced fumbles. His final year at TSU was so successful that he was named to the inaugural HBCU Legacy Bowl. In traditional Badejo fashion, he made a strong impression on NFL scouts and left them wanting more.
The 49ers, Texans, Browns, Bears, Broncos, and many other NFL clubs are interested in Michael, and to be honest, he deserves everything good that comes his way. Whether it was at Timberview High School, Southern Methodist University, or Texas Southern University, he worked tirelessly, sacrificed, and persevered to make this goal a reality. Just seeing his progress at TSU over the years makes me excited to see his hard work finally pay off. Michael's draft stock is steadily growing, and more organizations are vying for his services. I pray Michael Badejo is drafted and has a great career in the NFL.
