Darvin Kidsy Jr. is a fantastic football player who has overcome various challenges to get to where he is now. Those obstacles just made him stronger and a better person, ready to achieve all of his dreams. A multi-talented wide receiver from Missouri City, Texas, his primary goal was to make it to the National Football League. Darvin worked relentlessly from Elkins High School to Texas Southern University to make his goal a reality. He was an incredibly quick wideout, but he was also a special team's ace who could take a kick-off or punt return for a touchdown if the opposing team wasn't cautious. Although attending a historic black college, the old adage goes, "If you can play, they will find you." Darvin's dedication and hard work paid off when he signed with the Washington Redskins.
Darvin still has a lot of fuel left in the tank after playing for the Seattle Seahawks and Washington Redskins, and he can contribute right now if given the chance. One thing has remained consistent throughout his football career, and that is the man's ability to flat out ball. Outside of sports, what I like about Darvin is that no matter how famous he has become, he always finds a way to give back to the community. Last year in his hometown of Missouri City, Texas, he conducted his first football camp. Being able to pass on his football knowledge to the young men in attendance is powerful since it is something we don't usually witness. I pray he continues to excel and have tremendous success in the sport he adores.
