Dallas Blacklock Sr. has been an exceptional coach and instructor on the football field for many years. Coach Blacklock's resume included exceptional player development and winning at Sharpstown High School, The University of Houston, and Texas Southern University. If you've ever had the opportunity to be around Coach Blacklock, you'll notice that he's a motivator as well as an outstanding instructor who will break things down step by step.
Coach Blacklock elected to step down as assistant head coach of the TSU Tigers prior to the 2020 season and embark on a new journey. His ultimate goal of becoming a pastor was attained when he succeeded his longtime pastor Rev. Alan K. Brown. Pastor Blacklock has been a teacher everywhere he has gone, and now he is teaching the word of God at First Mt. Carmel Missionary Baptist Church. From his daily morning thoughts from Pastor D to his Sunday sermons, it's clear that he's totally devoted to spreading the wonderful word of God. This is incredible to me, and I pray that God continues to watch over him, his family, and his church.
