Andrew Body, the quarterback at Texas Southern University is a great athlete who is poised to take the Southwestern Athletic Conference by storm. Andrew Body is a force to be reckoned, having the ability to run or throw at a high level. Accumulating 2,007 yards and 11 touchdowns in the air plus 642 yards and five touchdowns on the ground clearly demonstrates that this man is unique. There is no doubt that TSU discovered a gem in Andrew Body because any university would be lucky to have a talented quarterback like him. He's not only terrific on the field, but he's also wonderful off the field, as he encourages all of his teammates to be great. When you look at all of the great quarterbacks, you will notice that they all have excellent leadership traits, mental toughness, confidence, and accountability. There is no doubt that Andrew possesses these abilities, and it is clear from watching TSU games that his teammates enjoy playing for him.
The incredible thing is that Andrew Body hasn't even hit his prime yet. As he enters his sophomore season, he will grasp playcalling and the offense will become second nature to him. With LaDarius Owens, Jyrin Johnson, Savion Sims, C'ing Blanton, and a plethora of additional weapons, this squad will be must-see TV this fall. TSU supporters are ecstatic for the upcoming season because of Andrew's effect on the team. After catching a peek of his brilliance during his freshman season, all I can say is that everyone should have their popcorn ready for the show Andrew and the TSU football team will put on this season.
